Since the 17th century, it has Japanese handicrafts Ukiyo-e (woodcut) has been known for its beautiful and authentic motifs. Within the genre, the artists were often inspired by geishas, life in the city, kabuki actors, nature, eroticism and sumo wrestlers. Woodcuts can add an authentic and unique touch to your decor, and all the motifs have been selected to fit in with our other poster range.
At Taishō, all Japanese woodcuts are printed on 240g matt quality paper in a 12-colour plotter for extraordinary color reproduction. They are offered in the sizes A3, 50x70 and 70x100 cm.
